## BBS Directory

The BBS Directory (`/bbs-directory`) lists classic bulletin board systems you can connect to directly from your browser. It is available when the Terminal Emulator Connections feature is enabled for your community.
### Browsing the directory
Visit `/bbs-directory` to browse featured and community-submitted BBS systems. Each entry shows the name, description, and connection details.
### Connecting
1. Click **Connect** on any listing.
+ 2. A browser-based terminal opens — no telnet client needed.

3. Log in using the credentials shown (most have a public guest account).
### Submitting a BBS
Click **Submit a BBS** and fill in the name, hostname, port, and description. Submissions are reviewed before appearing in the directory.
### Admin setup
+ Configure featured BBS systems at **Admin → BBS Directory**.
Manage the BBS catalog at **Admin → BBS Listings** (`/admin/bbs-listings`). Super Admins can promote a community-submitted entry into the featured list, or demote a featured listing back to the directory.
