Bookmarks & Collections

Bookmarks let you save threads, posts, and wiki pages for quick access later. Collections take bookmarks a step further by letting you organize saved items into themed groups.

Saving a Bookmark

To bookmark any piece of content:

  1. Click the bookmark icon (flag) on a thread, post, or wiki page.
  2. The item is saved to your default bookmarks list immediately.
  3. A confirmation toast appears with an option to Add to Collection.

You can view all your bookmarks from Profile > Bookmarks.

Creating a Collection

Collections are named groups of bookmarks. Use them to organize saved content by topic, project, or any scheme you prefer.

  1. Go to Profile > Bookmarks > Collections.
  2. Click New Collection.
  3. Enter a name and optional description.
  4. Set visibility: Private (only you) or Public (visible on your profile).

Adding Bookmarks to Collections

There are two ways to add a bookmark to a collection:

  • At bookmark time: after clicking the bookmark icon, select Add to Collection from the toast notification and pick a collection.
  • From the bookmarks page: check one or more bookmarks and use the Move to Collection bulk action.

A single bookmark can belong to multiple collections.

Managing Bookmarks

From the bookmarks page you can:

  • Search your bookmarks by keyword.
  • Sort by date saved, title, or most recent activity on the bookmarked item.
  • Filter by content type (threads, posts, wiki pages).
  • Remove bookmarks individually or in bulk.

Public Collections

When a collection is set to Public, other members can browse it from your profile. This is useful for curating reading lists, resource roundups, or recommended threads. Public collections display the collection name, description, and a count of items.

Notes

  • Bookmarking is silent. The author of the content is not notified when you bookmark their post.
  • If a bookmarked item is deleted by its author or a moderator, it appears as "Content removed" in your bookmarks list. You can clean these up with the Remove Deleted button.
