Events
Your community's event calendar: concerts, meetups, classes, festivals, and more, with dates, times, locations, cover images, and categories.
Browse and find events
Open /events to see upcoming events. The tools at the top of the page help you find what you want:
- Search by name, location, or keyword.
- Month picker to jump straight to a month.
- Quick filters: Today, This weekend, This month, Upcoming, and Past.
- Category chips: tap a category like Music, Family & Kids, or Food & Drink to show only those events.
Every view has its own web link, so you can bookmark or share a filtered list, like all Music events this month.
Categories
Events can carry one or more categories so people filter to what interests them. Your community starts with a set of common categories. Admins can add, rename, recolor, or remove them in the admin area under Event categories.
Cover images
Give an event a cover image so it stands out in the list and on its own page. When you add or edit an event, upload an image or paste an image link. Skipping the image is fine too. The event still shows cleanly.
Add an event
Click "Submit Event" and fill in:
- Title: the event name.
- Date and time: the start, plus an optional end for multi-day or timed events.
- Location: a place, or "Online".
- Link: an external page for tickets or details.
- Description: what to expect.
- Categories: pick any that fit. If your community has AI turned on, you can get category suggestions with one click.
- Cover image: upload one or paste a link.
Some communities review new events before they appear publicly.
Past events
Past events stay available. Use the "Past" filter on the events page to find them.
