Forums are the core of the community. They are organized into categories, each containing multiple forums focused on specific topics.
Browsing Forums
Visit /forums to see all categories and forums. Each forum shows its topic count, reply count, and recent activity. Click any forum to browse its threads.
Creating a Thread
- Navigate to the forum where you want to post
- Click "New Thread"
- Enter a title (or leave blank for auto-generation from your content)
- Write your post using Markdown or the formatting toolbar
- Optionally add tags, a flair, a poll, or schedule for future publication
- Click "Post Thread"
Markdown Syntax
Posts support GitHub-flavored Markdown:
**bold**for bold text*italic*for italic text[link text](url)for links`code`for inline code- Triple backticks for code blocks

Thread Features
- Upvote/Downvote — vote on the opening post and replies
- Best Answer — thread author can mark a reply as the best answer
- Pin — moderators can pin important threads to the top
- Lock — moderators can lock threads to prevent further replies
- Subscribe — get notified of new replies
- Bookmark — save threads for later
Anonymous Posting
Some forums allow anonymous posting. When enabled, a "Post anonymously" checkbox appears in the editor. Your identity is hidden from other members but visible to moderators.
Scheduled Posts
Expand "More options" when creating a thread to schedule it for future publication. The post remains hidden until the scheduled time.
