mobieusGate puts your community or specific areas behind a paid subscription.
How it works
- Admin configures subscription tiers at Admin → Gate.
- Non-subscribers who visit a gated area see the paywall with a Subscribe button.
- Clicking Subscribe opens a Stripe checkout. Access is granted on payment.
Access modes
- Open. No paywall.
- Write-gated. Free to read, subscription required to post.
- Read-gated. Subscription required for both reading and posting.
Managing your subscription
Go to Account → Settings → Subscription to view or cancel.
Admin: configuring tiers
Go to Admin → Gate to create pricing tiers with price, billing interval, and paywall copy. Each tier can offer a free trial of up to 30 days; new subscribers get full access during the trial and are billed when it ends.

Subscriber notifications
When a member's subscription needs attention, Mobieus emails them and posts an in-app notification automatically. Nothing to set up:
- Before a free trial ends. A reminder, so the first charge is never a surprise.
- When a renewal payment fails. A notice with a link to update their card before access ends. The card retries automatically in the meantime.
- When a failed payment recovers. A confirmation that they are all set.
- When a subscription is canceled. A confirmation, including when access ends.
