Reminders for supplements and medications

mobieusHealth can nudge you to take your supplements and medications on time. Reminders are part of the supplements tracker, so a reminder and the item it belongs to stay together: when a reminder is due, checking it off also logs the dose for that day. There's nothing separate to mark as taken.

Add a reminder when you add a supplement

When you add a supplement or medication, you'll see an Add a reminder? option. It's off by default, so a new item is added without a reminder unless you choose to set one. Turn it on if you want to be nudged.

When you switch it on, mobieusHealth builds a schedule from what you already entered — the item's frequency and the time of day you take it. A once-a-day item is set for its usual time; something you take more than once a day is spread across your waking hours. The suggested times are a starting point, so adjust any of them before you save.

Schedules that match how often you take it

The schedule follows the item's frequency:

  • Every day items remind you at the time (or times) you set.
  • Every other day items remind you on alternating days.
  • Weekly items remind you once a week.
  • You can also set an every N days cycle — for example every third day — anchored to the day you created the reminder.

For anything taken more than once a day, the reminders are spaced through the day rather than stacked together.

Checking off a dose

When a reminder is due, check it off to confirm you've taken it. That single tap both clears the reminder and records the dose in your tracker for the day, so your adherence history stays accurate without extra steps.

Edit or remove an item

You can edit any supplement or medication to change its name, amount, unit, frequency, or time of day. You can also delete an item you no longer take. Removing an item takes it off your list and stops any reminder you set for it.

A note on medications

A reminder is a nudge, not medical advice. Keep to the dose and schedule your prescriber set, and never change a dose based on a reminder. For medications like blood thinners, follow the exact plan your clinician gave you.
