## Admin: Sponsored Threads

Sponsored Threads pin promoted content at the top of forum listings.

Members can sponsor a thread to pin it to the top of its forum for a set time. They spend community credits to do it. **Admin → Sponsored Threads** is your oversight surface for those sponsorships.

### Creating a sponsored thread

### How a sponsored thread happens

1. Go to **Admin → Sponsored Threads**.
+
2. Click **New sponsored thread**.
+
3. Set the title, body, optional target URL, and target forums.
+
4. Set start and end dates.
+
5. Save and activate.

Sponsoring is a member action, not an admin one. On a thread they own, a member chooses to sponsor it and pays in credits:

- **6 hours** for 500 credits

- **24 hours** for 1,500 credits

Sponsored threads appear at the top of the selected forum's thread list with a "Sponsored" label.

The thread pins to the top of its forum with a **Sponsored** label and unpins automatically when the time runs out.

Edit, deactivate (remove from display without deleting), or issue refunds from the thread detail page.

From **Admin → Sponsored Threads** you see every active and past sponsorship. Two actions are available:

- **Refund.** Return the spent credits to the member and end the sponsorship.

- **Revoke.** End the sponsorship and unpin the thread without refunding.

Both actions are recorded in your audit log.
