Admin: Sponsored Threads

Members can sponsor a thread to pin it to the top of its forum for a set time. They spend community credits to do it. Admin → Sponsored Threads is your oversight surface for those sponsorships.

How a sponsored thread happens

Sponsoring is a member action, not an admin one. On a thread they own, a member chooses to sponsor it and pays in credits:

• 6 hours for 500 credits
• 24 hours for 1,500 credits

The thread pins to the top of its forum with a Sponsored label and unpins automatically when the time runs out.

Managing sponsorships

From Admin → Sponsored Threads you see every active and past sponsorship. Two actions are available:

• Refund. Return the spent credits to the member and end the sponsorship.
• Revoke. End the sponsorship and unpin the thread without refunding.

Both actions are recorded in your audit log.
