AI in Search
Site search matches members' queries against thread titles, posts, and articles by keyword. mobieusAI adds two things on top of that: a Q&A assistant that answers in plain language, and smarter ranking that understands intent.
Ask the mobieusAI assistant
When the Q&A assistant is enabled, members can ask a question and get a written answer drawn from your knowledge base and the forum threads they can see. The answer cites its sources by linking the pages and threads it used, so members can open the originals and verify.
Turn it on at Admin → AI with mobieusAI Q&A (the member-facing assistant). It answers only from content the member already has access to.
Smarter search ranking
Two toggles improve how results are ordered:
- Semantic forum search blends meaning-based relevance with keyword matching, so a search finds the right thread even when the wording differs.
- Semantic retrieval lets the Q&A assistant match on intent rather than exact words, with keyword search as a fallback.
Accuracy
AI answers are built from your community's own content and may not reflect the most recent changes. Always confirm by reading the linked sources.
Requirements
These features need the master AI switch on, your own Anthropic API key (BYOK), and the matching toggle enabled at Admin → AI. AI features are available on Pro, Creator, Creator Plus, and Sovereign plans.
