Course Sales
Sell courses from mobieusLearn to community members.
For Members
Browse available courses at /learn/courses. Each course has a detail page with a description, price, and "Enrol now" button. Logged-in users go straight to Stripe Checkout. After payment, you are enrolled automatically in the course on mobieusLearn.
Certificates
Each course includes a Certificate of Completion. After finishing all activities, view your certificate from the course detail page.
For Admins
Manage course offers at /admin/courses. Create offers by linking a mobieusLearn course, setting a price and slug, and publishing. Track sales, manage enrollments, and configure Stripe settings. Mobieus takes a 0% platform fee — you keep the full sale price minus Stripe's processing cut. If you need to charge sales tax or VAT, turn on automatic tax in your Stripe settings and add the regions where you are registered; every course checkout then adds the right amount based on the buyer's location. It stays off until you enable it.
Order bumps and upsells
Raise the value of each sale with two optional add-on offers, set per course offer.
Order bumps show on the checkout page. A buyer ticks a box to add a related course or workbook and pays for everything in one transaction, enrolling in each. Upsells show right after purchase: the buyer sees one more offer and, if they want it, accepts it in a quick checkout with their details already filled in.
To set them up, open a course offer at /admin/courses and use the "Offers that boost this one" panel. You can attach up to three order bumps and one upsell, each at its own price (often a discount on the standalone price). An offer a buyer already owns is hidden automatically, so nothing is sold twice. Order bumps and upsells are available on the Creator plan and up.
Subscriptions
Sell course access as a recurring subscription, not only a one-time purchase.
Recurring course offers. Set any course offer to bill monthly or yearly. Members pay each period to keep access to that offer's course, and it renews automatically. On the course page they see a "Subscribe" button with the price and interval.
All-access membership. Turn on a single plan that unlocks your entire published course catalog for one recurring price. Members get every course while the plan is active, and courses you publish later are included automatically, with no per-course setup. The plan has its own page at /learn/all-access.
Free trials. Add a free trial of any length to a recurring offer or to the all-access membership. Members get full access during the trial and are charged when it ends, unless they cancel first.
Managing a subscription. Members update their card or cancel at any time from a self-serve billing page, reached from the course or membership page. When they cancel, access continues to the end of the paid period.
To set this up, open a course offer at /admin/courses and use the Billing control to choose one-time or recurring, the interval, and any free trial. Configure the all-access membership from the same area. Subscriptions use your own Stripe account at a 0% platform fee, the same as one-time sales, and are available on the Creator plan and up.
Subscriber notifications
When a member's subscription needs attention, Mobieus emails them and posts an in-app notification automatically. Nothing to set up:
- Before a free trial ends — a reminder, so the first charge is never a surprise.
- When a renewal payment fails — a notice with a link to update their card before access ends. The card retries automatically in the meantime.
- When a failed payment recovers — a confirmation that they are all set.
- When a subscription is canceled — a confirmation, including when access ends.
Subscription analytics
Your subscription dashboard now shows the revenue metrics that matter, not just a single point-in-time count:
- MRR with a 12-month trend — see whether monthly recurring revenue is growing or shrinking.
- Churn rate — the share of subscribers who cancel.
- Trial-to-paid conversion — how many free trials become paying subscriptions.
- ARPU and LTV — average revenue per subscriber and estimated lifetime value.
Course subscriptions have their own version under Admin, Courses, Subscriptions; the membership dashboard shows the same for paid community access.
Abandoned-cart recovery
When a buyer starts a course checkout but does not finish, Mobieus automatically emails them one reminder with a link to resume where they left off. One nudge per checkout, no repeats. It runs on its own for every course offer; signed-in buyers can opt out from their notification settings. Nothing to set up.
Payment plans (installments)
Sell a course as a set number of payments instead of one up-front charge, for example three monthly payments of $100 rather than $300. Set an offer's Billing to Installment plan, pick the number of payments and the interval, and the per-payment price. Buyers get access while they pay; the course becomes theirs to keep once it is paid off, and access pauses if a payment fails. Available on the Creator plan and up.
Sales pages
Give any course a dedicated marketing page at its own link, separate from the standard catalog listing.
A sales page has a hero headline and subheadline, an "About" section you write in Markdown, the course curriculum pulled in automatically, testimonials, and a frequently-asked-questions list. The buy button runs the same checkout as everywhere else. To build one, open a course offer at /admin/courses and choose "Sales page", fill in the sections, and publish. The page goes live at /learn/p/<slug>, and you can point ads or emails straight at it. Leave it unpublished to keep it private while you work. Available on the Creator plan and up.
Course bundles
Sell several courses together as one package at a single price, usually less than buying each on its own.
Create a bundle at /admin/courses, on the Bundles tab: give it a title and price, then pick the courses it includes (at least two). One checkout enrolls the buyer in every course in the bundle. Active bundles appear on your course catalog at /learn/courses alongside individual courses, each with its own page at /learn/bundle/<slug>. Available on the Creator plan and up.
Affiliate program
Let members and partners promote your courses with a referral link and earn a commission on the sales they bring in.
Set up an affiliate at /admin/courses, on the Affiliates tab: choose the member, set a commission percentage, and either scope them to one course or let them earn on any. They get a referral link (a ?ref= code). When someone who arrives through that link buys within 30 days, a commission is recorded automatically as a share of the whole order, including any order bumps. You review every commission in the ledger and mark each one approved, then paid, as you send the money. Affiliates see their own link and earnings at /learn/affiliate. Payouts are manual for now: you pay affiliates however you already do, then mark the commissions paid here. Available on the Creator plan and up.
Emailing your learners
Send a one-off email to the people taking a course, straight from the course admin.
Open the Broadcasts tab at /admin/courses, write a subject and a message in Markdown, and choose who receives it: everyone enrolled, only the learners who finished, or only those still in progress. You can target a single course or all of them. The recipient count shows before you send. Useful for announcing a new lesson, reminding people about a live session, or nudging the learners who stalled. Available on the Creator plan and up.
