The mobieusAI Assistant is a floating AI chat interface (✨ drawer) available to all members.
Opening the assistant
Click the ✨ button in the bottom-right corner of any page.
What it can do
- Answer questions about your community and the knowledge base, citing the pages and threads it drew from
- Find forum threads on a topic and point you to them
- Summarize a long thread into the key points
It is grounded in your community's own content: it reads the knowledge base and the forum threads you are allowed to see, and it cites its sources by ID so you can click through and check.
Memory
The assistant keeps the last few turns of your conversation in context, so follow-up questions work naturally. Each conversation is its own thread of context.
Mods and admins get more
Members get retrieval over the knowledge base and visible threads. Moderators additionally get answers grounded in recent moderation actions and filters. Admins additionally get the audit log, configuration, and help-desk context. The assistant always answers within the scope the signed-in person is allowed to see.
Semantic search
When semantic retrieval is enabled, the assistant matches on meaning rather than exact words (with a keyword fallback), so it finds the right page even when you phrase the question differently.
Requirements
Requires the BYOK Anthropic API key at Admin → AI and the assistant feature flag to be enabled.
