mobieusVerified
mobieusVerified is an optional paid add-on that lets members verify their real identity. Verified members receive a blue checkmark badge.
Getting verified
- Go to Account → Settings → Identity.
- Click Get Verified.
- Complete the identity flow: a short selfie video (at least 15 seconds) and a government-ID upload.
- Start the $5/month mobieusVerified subscription through Stripe.
- Your submission is reviewed. Approved submissions receive the badge, typically within 24 hours.
You can cancel anytime from Account → Settings → Identity; the badge stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for.
What verification proves
It confirms you are a real person. Your ID and selfie video are encrypted at rest and purged 90 days after approval. Personal documents are never shared with other members, and your legal name is not shown publicly. All that appears next to your name is the checkmark; hovering it shows the date you were verified — for example, "mobieusVerified on July 28, 2026".
Admin: reviewing submissions
Go to Admin → Users → Verification Queue to approve or deny pending submissions.
