Forums can accept applications from members who want to help moderate.
Applying to moderate
- Go to a forum that has applications open.
- Click Apply to moderate in the forum action bar.
- Describe your experience and why you want to help.
- Submit. The forum owner and admins are notified.
Application status
You get a notification when your application is reviewed. If you're approved, you're granted moderation tools for that forum.
Admin: reviewing applications
Go to Admin → Mod Assignments → Applications, then open an application to approve or deny it. Approving it creates a moderator grant scoped to that forum. See Mod Assignments.
