Moderator Applications

Forums can accept applications from members who want to help moderate.

Applying to moderate

1. Go to a forum that has applications open.
2. Click Apply to moderate in the forum action bar.
3. Describe your experience and why you want to help.
4. Submit. The forum owner and admins are notified.

Application status

You get a notification when your application is reviewed. If you're approved, you're granted moderation tools for that forum.

Admin: reviewing applications

Go to Admin → Mod Assignments → Applications, then open an application to approve or deny it. Approving it creates a moderator grant scoped to that forum. See Mod Assignments.
