Modmail lets a forum's moderators send you private messages. You control how you're notified about them.
Managing preferences
Go to Account → Modmail preferences (/account/modmail-prefs) to control:
- Email notifications — get an email when you receive a modmail message.
- Digest frequency — receive a daily digest instead of an email per message.
Reading modmail
Modmail conversations appear in your Messages area at /messages/modmail, flagged so you can tell them apart from regular direct messages.
Who can send modmail
Modmail is initiated by the moderation team for a forum. See Modmail for how it works.
