Signature Generator
The Signature Generator (/tools/signature) helps you build a custom forum signature that shows beneath your posts. Setting a signature requires being logged in, and the feature must be enabled by your community.
Two ways to build a signature
The tool has two tabs:
- Editor — write a Markdown signature with a live preview that mirrors how it will look beneath a real post. Markdown is supported (bold, italic, email links, a divider). External links are stripped; email links work.
- ASCII generator — type some text and pick a figlet-style font to generate an ASCII banner. The result drops into the editor, where you can keep editing.
Saving your signature
- Go to
/tools/signature, or open Account → Settings → Signature. - Build your signature in the Editor (optionally using the ASCII generator).
- Check the live preview on the right.
- Save. Your signature is stored on your profile and appears beneath your forum posts.
Signature limits
Signatures support Markdown and are capped at 500 characters. Keep them concise.
