What: Thread OP can mark one reply as the "best answer," pinning it under the OP. Members can also vote replies as "most helpful." Award a credit bonus + a temporary "verified helpful" badge to authors of marked best-answers.

Who benefits: Q&A communities (support forums, technical communities); newcomers searching for answers.

Why: Stack Overflow / Discourse pattern that drives quality content. Cheap to build; consistent with the existing reactions + credits infra.

Dependencies: forum_posts + reactions (both shipped). CreditLedger (shipped).

Recommended order: Sprint 1 (week 1-2). Pairs well with G.

Complexity: 3 days.

Update — shipped to production. Forums now work like a proper Q&A board: the thread author (or an admin) can mark a reply as the best answer, which pins under the question; members vote replies up so the most helpful rise; and best-answer authors get a notification, a credit bonus, and best-answer recognition. Guide: Best answers and helpful votes.

Note: recognition is awarded through the permanent best-answer achievement rather than a time-limited flair.
