Admin: Forum Owner Reassignment

Site admins can transfer forum ownership without requiring the current owner to act.

Steps

1. Go to Admin → Forums.
2. Click the forum name.
3. Click Reassign Owner.
4. Search for the new owner.
5. Confirm.

When to use this

Use when the current owner is inactive, has left, or has requested to step down but cannot complete the resign flow themselves.

Audit trail

All reassignments are logged in Admin → Audit Log.
