Admin: mobieusGate
mobieusGate is your paywall. Configure it from Admin → Gate.
Turning it on
mobieusGate is a standalone feature, off by default. Enable it at Admin → Config → Features before the Gate panel takes effect.
Subscription tiers
Create pricing tiers with a name, description, price, billing interval (monthly, yearly, one-time), and optional trial period.
Access surfaces
Set each surface to Open, Write-gated, or Read-gated. You can also set a minimum plan on any surface, the whole site or an individual forum. With more than one paid tier, that lets higher tiers unlock more: a surface set to your top tier stays hidden from lower tiers, who see a clear upgrade prompt instead of a dead end. Leave it unset and any paying subscriber gets in.
Stripe setup
Gate uses your Stripe account from Admin → Config → Commerce. Each tier maps to a Stripe product and price. To collect sales tax or VAT, turn on automatic tax in Admin → Config → Commerce, then add the regions where you are registered. Every checkout then works out the correct rate from the buyer's location. It stays off until you enable it.
Paywall message
Customize the paywall text and call-to-action from Admin → Gate → Paywall.

Switching plans
Members can change their plan from their billing page. When they switch, the charge is prorated: an upgrade costs only the difference for the rest of the billing period, and a downgrade credits the unused time. Access updates to the new tier right away, so you never have to cancel and re-subscribe anyone by hand.
Subscription analytics
Your subscription dashboard now shows the revenue metrics that matter, not just a single point-in-time count:
- MRR with a 12-month trend — see whether monthly recurring revenue is growing or shrinking.
- Churn rate — the share of subscribers who cancel.
- Trial-to-paid conversion — how many free trials become paying subscriptions.
- ARPU and LTV — average revenue per subscriber and estimated lifetime value.
Course subscriptions have their own version under Admin, Courses, Subscriptions; the membership dashboard shows the same for paid community access.
